Adam Saaks Custom "CUT"oure

This guy Adam Saaks out of LA is a master cutter. He works exclusively Christian Audigier to cut up tees and remix them into vixen like tops. Check out this live session at the Vegas CA show. Also check out his myspace page for more videos.

Two Tshirts, One Dress

Oh, Kanye

Why? I don't get him sometimes. In my opinion he's one of the most influential, stylistic artists of our time, but damn if he doesn't do some hot mess shit at times. Known for his hissy fit was, this morning he rips cameras from the paparazzi at LAX airport. I understand that celebs don't want to be invaded at times. I wouldn't appreciate getting ass shots of me on the beach or my intimate moments with my lover or kids. But dude...they're just filming you as you walk through the airport. How is that so invasive? I guess. I still love the dude. But check out for yourself how Kanye flips out on this guy.

Ed Hardy Overload

Like I said, The When I Move You Move show was all I got in Vegas this year. I'm not a fan of wearing clothes that have a person's name on it or because the celebs have it on, but I've gotta give Mr. Christian Audigier his props. The man has created Ed Hardy EVERYTHING! This is not just a clothing line; it's a phenomenon! If you've wondered who the hell is Ed Hardy and why is he charging $80 for a t shirt? Here's the scoop... Ed Hardy's a prestigious tattoo artist that licensed the rights to former Von Dutch designer to produce a clothing line with the use of his art. Christian marketed the line to his famous counterparts and voila! A million dollar empire with every item under the sun. Let's see...sunglasses, air freshener, bedding, swimwear, energy drinks, car mats, underwear, jewelry, etc. You name it A to Z. All that's missing is an Ed Hardy condom. LOL. Imagine that... a big tiger head coming straight at you! But here are some of the crazy EH items at the booths last week.

I'm Coming Home

Sitting here in the Las Vegas airport waiting for a 12:40 am flight is no fun. Especially with the repetitive chant of the row of slot machines saying "Wheel-Of-Fortune!" I HATE red eyes. I've been gone for days on this "When I Move You Move" Ed Hardy/Christian Audigier trade show. No MAGIC show fashion inspiration for me this time. Instead I saw a slew of skulls, tigers and bulldogs! I also had my fare share of Cali constructed chicks with fake noses, tits, hair and probably ass that all looked like aliens from another planet. I'm not kidding. It was still an experience and plus I got to hang in the Caesar's Palace pool and relax. I'll post pics of all the outrageous Ed Hardy/ Christian product and happenings this week soon. For now, I'll continue to try to make this airport bench feel as good as I can.

Decisions, Decisions

Long time no post right? Well, with studying for RE courses, Dallas Market and Vegas preparation, I've been kinda off the rocker.

But as I shopped for some goodies I ran across some gems. I picked up these pair on sale at Aldo.

But here's the thing... They're white! I usually don't conform to the rules and regulations of the fashion police, but they are white. AND Labor day is around the corner. So... I need advice... Not sure if I can get enough play out of these during the winter. Should I...

A. Keep them or B. Take them back and just find something else. (DROP A COMMENT)

Sounds easy enough, but I looovveee them so. I'm broke and I have to be as meticulous as possible on my purchases.

In the meantime, check out some fly Internet finds at Steve Madden.

Super Hero Fashion

In Texas we're far from what we consider "Fall". BUT why not get inspired for future looks. Who would've thought blockbuster super heroes would influence the silhouettes on this fall's runways. GIRL POWER!
