I was at Victory Park this afternoon and the HD jumbotron actually says 80% if I recall. Honestly I've only window shopped there because the prices were unbelievable, but quality and the brands are impecable. But with an 80% discount... I may be able to make something of that.

Throwback No. 4: Jem

Jem and the Holograms (R.I.P. 1985-1988) were once my LIFE. The show was the perfect fusion of what I considered myself to be at age 4, sweet, colorful, musical and TOTALLY OUTRAGEOUS (which is the motto of the show)!

The synopsis... Jerrica Benton and her alter ego "Jem" owns a music production company with the help of her holographic computer synthesizer named Synergy. Jem and her girls are a band called The Holograms consisted of a keyboardist, guitarist and drummer who deal with beef thrown their way by "The Misfits". Together Jem and the Holograms perform with the goal of making it big and keeping their non profit foundation for foster girls and Starlight Music Studio running. Throughout the show the crew breaks into songs that are formulated as music videos MTV style. How cool is that? The music isn't too bad either. Check out some of the videos...

4. Lydia Hearst. Not the most beautiful of the privileged; but girl can dress, and her hair is always fit!!! Playboy France turns 35 yr. old, and she is gracing us with her tits. FINALLY!



5. The "REAL" Housewives of ATL. Dont know how many of my readers/friends watched this show, but these bitches were the ultimate. The "realest" of the bunch NeNe is my girl, bitch can beat your ass, and buy you a Rover at the same time...with her over 60 yr old husbands money, of course!



6. Vivienne Westwood. This lady is absolutely amazing, not only does she style some of my favorite shows and movies, but she conjures up some of the best designs. Plastic Heels!!! This is mos definitely not a shoe you could wear in the Texas heat ( sweaty feet!) but with a cute pair of girlie socks...KILLIN IT!

Reebok WMNS Freestyle HI INT Winter Brights

The retro high-top Reebok Freestyle continues to be a favorite among the ladies. Reebok is now releasing the "Winter Brights" Collection this year. They're a great basic. A splash of neon and satin laces make for a great alternative to the black boot this fall.

The Black Kids

Here's some new music! I don't know how I stumbled across this a few months ago, but here's video of indie rock The Black Kids out of Jacksonville, Fl. No, they're not black. Not sure why they call themselves The Black Kids, but their music is very infectcious! Check The Black Kid's myspace and spread the word.

If you've ever dreaded wearing your fliest shoes in the rain (not sneakers unfortunately), you can now worry no mas. Swims.com has created galoshes for your favorite shoes! They are flexible and stretch over heels and have pretty cool colors too. This idea is pretty genius if you ask me because not only are you being protected from the rain, but you can avoid those scuffs on the tip!

Ipod Nano Skin Dress

Apple dishes out new products and accessories so quickly that the become antiques almost over night. So what does a vendor do when they get stuck with a bunch of "old" iPod Nano skins? How about a dress? Dutch designer Cindy Jeurissen was asked to put the skins to use and created a fashionable piece out of over 200 pink skins. Pretty good idea.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta

I don;t care what anybody says, I'm geeked as hell for the season premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta! This is the 3rd season of the Housewives and the first time for there to be any "flava" in the mix. Of course that's not the only reason for my excitement though. It's just refreshing that they brought the show closer to the South with beautiful, true entrpranueral women. And of course there's a fair share of drama to go with it.
