With the weather changing, sun staying out a little longer and other changes, I flipped through my cd case (that hasn't been updated in a grip) and couldn't find music to score my emotions today. Got me to thinking what my favorite pick me up tracks are. Here are a few in no particular order...
The Smiths- This Charming Man
This up tempo beat and his melodic voice captivate me.
Diddy and Biggie- More $$$ More Problems
Reminds me of spending the summer in Miami with my best friend
Oscar De Leon- Lloraras
Yeah I threw some Espanol in there. He's speaking the truth, the melody along with the horns make me want to dance every time! The break with piano!!!! And the the guy playing the guiro tops it.I love this song.
Celia Cruz- La Vida Es Un Carnaval
This is a classic feel good anthem.
The Roots- The Seed
You can never go wrong with The Roots, but you throw Cody's vocals in the mix...Done.
